Assistant Division Manager, Deanna Sims has organized another successful blood drive, this time at the Heathrow Masters Association in Heathrow, FL.

The blood drive had so many community members sign up to donate blood, that One Blood had to turn away donations when they ran out of time. Another blood drive has been set up for the community in a few weeks.

During her time at Sentry, Deanna has organized six blood drives with One Blood, collecting numerous life-saving pints of blood for local hospitals. She and her team have two more blood drives planned for the remainder of the year.

She has this to say, “Giving blood is one of the easiest things that a person can do to help their community. To spend 45 minutes of your time and potentially save 3 more lives is a great service to your community, and I love being a conduit that helps make that happen.”
