Division Vice President, Lynne McCarron has been sewing brightly colored face masks and donating them to her staff, people in the community and the emergency department nurses at Hartford Hospital. In total, she has made 40 masks so far.

Lynne has been using materials donated by local association residents and has purchased some herself to make the masks and plans on making more.

Lynne explains, “My husband is a retired Psychiatric Nurse. My heart goes out to those on the front lines of health care. This is my way providing a small offering in an effort to protect the health of my dedicated staff as we support those that live in the communities we manage, as well as a small part I can play in the support of those that are taking care of both the physically and mentally ill during this unprecedented time in our Nation. I have chosen fabric that I felt folks would wear and would also be fun to wear as well. ”
